The screen went out on my Mac Book Pro running Pan6 so I have converted my business to PanX on my M1 Mac Air running OS 15.3. There are many problems but the worst might be the bad quality of image objects. The image of a product label printout shows sharp text objects but blurry image objects with the UPC symbol being maybe unscannable. This could cause me lots of problems.
It appears that scaled images may become blurry. Modifying the alignment option will resolve the printing issues.
Alignment option adjustments will not fix this issue (Unless there has been a recent fix/update for it that I’m not aware of). To the best of my knowledge, image objects print at 72 dpi in Panorama X versions B26 to present, regardless of image type… JPEG or Vector.
Here is a link to a three year old post where Jim shares his thoughts on the image object quality issue: CLICK HERE - Jim’s is the third post.
What I tested was actually a 72dbi image file and it printed better without scaling option enabled.
Interestingly, the tile option produces high-resolution prints, while static images also print without any issues.
