I’m currently using setwindowoptions “CLOSEABLE”,“NO” and provide my own close button in all my windows.
I just noticed that after a findselect dialog, the window automatically becomes CLOSEABLE. This sounds like a bug. Anyone else encountering this problem?
Although the no close button option is available, I wouldn’t recommend using it for anything other than a short lived status window.
If you’re worried about the database closing when the last window closes, keep in mind that Panorama now has a method to prevent that (in the Database Options dialog).
It sounds like an Apple bug to me. And since Apple doesn’t generally use windows without close buttons in their apps, I wouldn’t hold my breath on a fix.
