When trying to delete a search from the Favourite

I am getting the following error:

Using the latest Panaroma. Os 26.2.2

Any suggestions! Thanks!

There doesn’t appear to be any favorite to delete. You may have clicked the minus sign twice. The first one deleted the favorite, and the second one attempted to delete from an empty list.

As I experimented with this, I came up with a scenario that could be confusing. If I started by deleting the name, that made the list look empty, but there was still a search without a name. If I then clicked the minus sign, that removed the seach, but since the list already looked empty, it didn’t change its appearance. Clicking the minus sign a second time produced the error.

Thank you!
Followed you advice and the problem was solved.

I did a search for ‘Pending’ in the field "State’. There is no records with ‘State’ being ‘Pending’. However, when i click on the saved ‘Pending’ search, all records are displayed although none of the records have ‘Pending’ in the ‘State’ field:

There must be something basic i am not doing right? Any suggestions? Thanks

You haven’t done anything wrong. That’s simply how searches work. Panorama will always show at least one visible record. If you do a select, and none of the records satisfy the formula, it will revert to the previously selected records.

@Dave Thank you! Mystery solved!

The documentation of PanoramaX contains a section about this question, so that you are able to check for empty selections and execute some code in that case:

You may have clicked the minus sign twice. The first one deleted the favorite, and the second one attempted to delete from an empty list.

That is definitely an easily repeatable bug, thank you Dave for figuring out the exact steps. It affects all flavors of favorites, not just search favorites. Fortunately, the fix was easy and is already complete, it will be included in the next Panorama X release.

@KJM The document was very helpful. Thanks for pointing to it!
