What error causes misplaced data?

This previous thread, had a lot of confusion, and did not get into details about my problem, but but after database arrived it was fixed, sounds similar, is it really the same issue?

Just to close the loop on this and close out this bug report.

After long delay getting database sent to Jim, the bug of wrong text getting copied into selected record under these particular circumstances was confirmed and bug was fixed. Great. On other issue of field text not always getting saved, advice was, make sure to hit Enter or save, try to stay on same form, always good to do for sure.
