What error causes misplaced data?

Sorry, didn’t make clear, I was referring back to this specific bug from several months ago that involved searching and switching windows:

Just to close the loop on this and close out this bug report. After long delay getting database sent to Jim, the bug of wrong text getting copied into selected record under these particular circumstances was confirmed and bug was fixed. Great. On other issue of field text not always getting saved, advice was, make sure to hit Enter or save, try to stay on same form, always good to do for sure. Appreciate the great support, thanks!

I was just asking if possibly related to this thread, because I did replicate that.
