Text label object issue

I am starting to feel like the mean old man telling a mother her baby is ugly. I am using text label objects as field headings in a report template. After I set up the first one. I am duplicating it instead of creating new ones for each field. When I double click to edit the object the horizontal scroll bar jumps to the far right of the screen. When I scroll back, the object is highlighted ready to edit. This happens with every duplicated object in several different files and is one of the many form glitches that caused me to use 164 hours on Pan last month.

It would seem you might want to create one. Fix it to be and act the way you believe it should, and then duplicate that object. All other objects will then only need their text altered.

Try using Text Display objects instead of Text Labels. I never use Text Labels since they seem rather “iffy” and sometimes unstable. Text Display objects are far more versatile and easier to use.

Greg, if you have to create lots of fields and field labels in a form, then let Panorama X do the work for you! It is easy and fast to create e.g. 60 fields with field labels all at once; then you can drag / align / group them to a nice form.

You might read the Panorama X documentation about Automatic Form Construction .

Or you enter “construct” in the search field of the Panorama X Help.
