Select record function

Since the recent upgrade I have this annoying, time consuming, problem:
When I want to select a record in the database and I click on the field where I see the number of records and how many are shown, AND then I click on Find/Select. =====> a small colored screen pops up, telling me that "Find Or Variable (xDatabase) does not exit.
It asks me to click on its Blue OK field.
Which I do
And then I can click again on my Find/Select field and enter the value of my search without a problem.
How can avoid this pop-up???

We haven’t heard any other reports of this behavior, and I cannot duplicate the problem based on your description.

I might have found the problem.

  • If I touch first the gray-movable bar at the bottom of my record list, and then the blue field with the x visible/total number of records, I have the problem
  • If if touch frist the upper gray border of the field that holds the records, and then the blue field with the x visible/total number of records, I have NOT the problem
    Hopefully you understand what I mean.

No, the solution I thought worked didn’t work after all, actually after 3 tries
