There is an item to preview records in the File menu. I’d like a quick way to just grab/export the data in one field. I should probably be able to write some procedure to do it, but that might risk frustration…
Ahh, a hasty read on my part took it as one record, not one field. For one field you could use ArraySelectedBuild with just the one field as the formula.
Right, I use those sophisticated features all the time and have probably hundreds of export templates scattered around in various DBs. Was looking for an on the fly field export, like the ready-made quick record export. Grab a record, grab a field, you pick 'em.
Yes, you are describing the Text Export Wizard. Open the Wizard, delete all the fields you don’t want to export, voila!
