Problems opening a database

Continuing the discussion from Problems Opening and Closing a Database:

I have s similar problem… a database
with an initialization procedure just flashes as the file opens, but no window or data sheet appears until I use the View Organizer to open the form which previously was opening properly. Pan memory window showed the file was open but no forms were visible.

Craig, I would be interested to know if the workaround I found works for you. Don’t close database files, but quit Panorama. Next time, it opens correctly. Tom

Nope, doesn’t fix anything for my database.

I think Craig’s problem has something to do with the .Initialize procedure, rather than simply not opening a window. I’m hoping he can send me the file.
