Pan X View as List work around

I see that the buttons in the header of View as List form still work. What’s more, a button on the record data tile works also. The active record in the form is totally highlighted but a un-named Button can block the highlight and with an outline of the active record and show the data. This gives the same user look as Pan 6. Clicking on the field to edit would press the record button triggering a procedure to open a form with no headers or anything, a Dialog type window, that would superimpose over the active record and allow editing and tabbing between fields. The Return Key would trigger the procedure that closes the form and saves the changes. This would work like the Floating Edit used to. Will this work?

It wasn’t designed to work this way, but it might. If you try this technique, please let us know your results.
