Page setup not saving - any updates on this?

I’ve gone live with my office management suite and have run into a problem with page setup that I see was talked about as long ago as 2016 in the Forum.

I have about a hundred forms that print to one of 6 trays on 2 printers with variable landscape and portrait orientation. I’ve noted that when I change page setup for a form it changes every form in that database to the same orientation and subsequent forms print to the wrong paper size and location.

Before I comb through all the procedures to update shellscript print to printtopdf commands, can anyone confirm that this behavior doesn’t have an update or workaround?

This is the last I know about it:

• Panorama databases now remember the page setup information when the database is saved. Note: Unlike Panorama 6, there is only one Page Setup for the entire database – there is no longer separate page setup information for every form. (However, you can now use the PrintToPDF statement to do printing with custom options on demand.)

One other item I noted when printing my day’s schedule is that when it prints directly by naming the form in the printtopdf statement without opening the form and letting the form populate the names via lookups to another database, it prints a blank page with just the backdrop tile and variables local to the calling DB on it. So my print commands will all include defining the new window size and parameters, opening the form, and then having it print then closing it. Works fine that way, but that behavior might be noted in the documentation if it is truly universal.
