Is there a max number of Web Browser Objects that we should expect to be successful with in a single Pano window? After the 3rd WBO, it seems that additional do not get refreshed after moving to Data Mode.
Or would it be better to have fewer WBOs in multiple windows. I would like to have 7 web pages that I’d like to view at the same time.
I don’t know of any reason why Panorama would care how many Web Browser objects are in a single window. On the other hand, I don’t think I’ve ever tried more than two. But there’s nothing inherent about the design that would impose a limit. Each Web Browser object is completely independent.
Panorama’s help system uses the Web Browser object. Obviously that’s only one per window, but I’ve definitely had 7 help windows open at the same time.
I’m not able to duplicate this in a simple test database: test db had 6 fields, each with a different web address entered. Test form has 6 web browser objects, each in formula mode and referencing one of the fields. Created two records for the test, so total of 12 web addresses. All the WBO’s displayed the correct web site. Switching record updated all 6 WBOs correctly, though took a few seconds to do so on my older mac.
