Today we are noticing that records on a particular file on Client B are locked even though we are seeing the Wifi icon indicating that there should not be a locked record. Client A cannot make changes to the database, when Client B is in this unlocked records state. Both computers are set to Auto Unlock at 30 seconds for the subject file. We have executed forceunlockallrecords but that does not seem to help. Quitting PanX on Client B does allow Client A to modify records on the file. We are still trouble shooting whenever we have a spare moment.
The Wifi icon merely indicates that the record is not locked by THIS computer. It does not tell you whether the record is locked by some other computer. The Server Admin window can tell you which computers have locked records, and allows you to manually unlock if necessary.
