Does anyone know how to use a fingerprint reader in conjunction with PanX? Its purpose would be to authenticate the user. If you do, could you explain the basics of how this could be done?
I would imagine that the fingerprint hardware device would be the source for how to interact with it. What brand? What model?
I am going to imagine that it outputs some sort of file similar to what a graphics program would output. Totally meaningless to the eye but capable of being compared to another second file. Some software provided by the fingerprint reader company would provide an interface that would allow you to set the parameters of what a ‘match’ would qualify. Panorama just reads characters and it does that well.
