I have to restore loads of old databases created under 5.5. I learned that I can install Panorama 6 out of Paorama X. Did it, it worked, but I do not succed in registering Panorama 6 under my old (4 numbers.3 letters) Code.
I also had a personal licence dat which doesn’t work either.

You can run Panorama 6 without registering it. Each time you save one of those databases, you will get a dialog that makes you click a bunch of blue letters, but if this is just a one time thing, as you transition to Panorama X, that might be acceptable.
I don’t know what you have done so far to try to register, but I expect the problem may be that your personal use license has expired.
