Displaydata closes automatically after a few seconds.
The displaydata statement can be configured to close automatically after a specified delay. See Automatically Closing after a Delay on the rundialog help page.
Of course this is not the default – the dialog should stay open indefinitely if you haven’t used the timeout option.
On my M1 Mac mini with Monterrey and b24 (3862), displaydata is defaulting to close after ~5 seconds. I see now that I can change that when I need the display to remain longer with the timeout option.
You must have set up a variable SuperAlertDefaultOptions with the timeout specified as 5 seconds.
You are right. I was trying to this setting some time ago and forgot about it. I did not remember that it could affect some PanX statements that use the superalert statement.
