I open a Pan 6 file with a form that has several Data Cells on it, and the Cells all get converted to Pan X Special Objects. I therefore cannot edit any of their properties. The Form still DISPLAYS the data from the field the Data Cell was connected to!
I understood that Data Cells are supposed to covert to Text Editor objects.
AHA! After I saved the file, closed it, and reopened it in Pan X, they are now TEs.
