The macOS way to cycle through your windows is cmd-< and cmd->.
Just tested in the Finder, in Pages, in Excel. And in Panorama X, of course.
@KJM Thank you!
When you mentioned cmd-<
, do you mean pressing on the cmd
and <
keys together?
On a Mac OS, the Shift, Fn (function), Control, Option, & Command keys are only modifier keys. They do nothing on their own. They only modify other keys.
Command Tab cycles through applications.
Command ` (the backslash that is beneath the tilde ~) cycles through windows.
The above will happen on US Keyboards set to US layout. Other keyboards may vary.
I figured it out:
If the windows in an app are not maximised then, Cmd + `
If all the windows of an app are maximised the on the trackpad, swipe with three fingers (this way or that way). It works for Panorama and MS Word
I am still interested to know the solution that @KJM suggested.
Thank you!
Kurt is in Germany, and his computer has the German keyboard layout.
This is the U.S. keyboard layout.
He presses the same keys to cycle through windows that we do in the U.S. but those keys are used to type different characters.
@dave Thank you for the clarification!
