I just got a 16" M1 Pro MacBook and Panorama is among the apps that won’t launch. Every attempt results in an instant crash. I downloaded and installed the lates release and got the same result.
For what its worth, I am having no issues with the 16" M1 Max. macOS 12.0.1
Jim was talking about some problems but I think that might have been only the demo.

Well that sucks. No crash report has been submitted to our system, so I have no diagnostic information. Perhaps the crash is occurring even before Panorama’s code launches. We haven’t received any other reports of problems with these new computers. Nor have I seen reports in the media of people having problems with apps in general. Since you apparently have several apps that won’t launch, perhaps there is something specifically wrong with your computer.

I’m assuming by “latest release” you mean 10.2. 10.1 definitely will not run on Monterey, but I’m sure you already know that.
Reinstalling the OS now… 
We’re good here now. The issue was OS 12.0 versus 12.0.1. My bad for not noticing sooner.
I’ve often read that the first thing to do when you get a new computer is to make sure the OS is up-to-date. Especially around this time of year, new computers often have a slightly older version of the OS installed.
Yeah, and I knew that and have typically practiced it too. All devices have a time lag from the time they’re packaged until they’re put into service. Software and firmware change in the interim with some frequency.
Too eager to get rolling this time I suppose.
That’s understandable though! And I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a problem where multiple different apps wouldn’t launch.

I have a new 16" Macbook Pro too. 12.0.1. I can’t install Panorama 10.2 because I can’t open 10.1. Is there another way to install it? Suggestions?

I have the exact same problem. Just got a MacBook Pro 16 inch with M1Max and 64GB of Ram. Running 12.0.1. I am installing all my apps fresh (in the hopes of catching the ones that are running native on Apple Silicon), but migrated my data over using migration assistant. I downloaded the trial, coped it to Applications, then opened in Applications. Before I can login into my existing account, it crashes (after about three seconds),

You need to upgrade Panorama to the public beta 10.2.0
Then scroll down to the Installing 10.2 From Scratch (without a previous version of Panorama) section of the answer.
From those instructions, it seems I need to have PanoramaX open in order to download the beta. But I can’t open PanoramaX, so that would appear to be infeasible. Is there some other way to download the Beta?
Never mind. I found the link at the bottom to install from scratch, and that seemed to work. I can now open my file. Thanks!
I do have one problem with the beta. I cannot quit Panorama X., other than a force quit.
Take a look at the window’s drag bar and see if it shows “Edited” to the right of the File and Window name. If so, Save, then Quit will work. That’s a known bug.
