Copy Record/Paste Record Does not add a record to the server

It appears to me that using copy record from the Menu Bar while viewing the DataSheet, followed by a PasteRecord, does not work. When I click one of the records, and try to edit a field, I get this message:

If I then synchronize, the copied record disappears and a blank record appears in the database. I repeated these steps several times, with exactly the same result.

Those commands should be disabled if the database is shared, thanks for flagging this.
