I have a few older files I need to covert to 6 and then to X. I do not have a copy of 6 to do so. How do I convert an older file to be used now with X?

You need a Mac (or a virtual machine) running a macOS that is still able to run 32-bit applications like Panorama 6 — i.e. max. Mojave. Then you can install Panorama 6 from the Panorama X Preferences > General. Read more about converting databases to Panorama X here.
