All the way back to 2015 the Bitbucket issue tracker has always been open to the public, and that has worked out really well. Unfortunately over the last few days spammers have started posting spurious, very spammy posts into the issue tracker. There doesn’t seem to be any way to circumvent this other than to make the issue tracker private, so I’ve done that today. I hope this isn’t permanent, but for now, it will have to be this way.
