Opensecret triggers .Initialize altho it's not supposed to

My .Initialize procedures run even when I open files with the opensecret statement. The documentation says otherwise.

I’m not complaining - I actually prefer it that way but if you’re going to change it Jim, I’d like to know.

I do not think that happens when I open a file secretly. I put a statement in the .Initialize procedure that say nsnotify “[dbName] ran .Initialize!”. I do not get that notification.

I don’t know why you think that, but the documentation is correct. The .Initialize procedure definitely does NOT run when a database is opened with opensecret.
