If I have 2 fields that have auto numbering, how does getautonumber() and setautonumber Number know which fields to get and set? They are not working for either field.
Each database has one autonumber available so there’s no knowing which field. GetAutoNumber and SetAutoNumber work with that same, single counter. The alternative is to create your own either through a database keeping track, or through permanent variables.
And they are working in Pan 6 and X.
