Problem with uniqueid( function. Why Morph choices change between datasheet and Form

That uniqueid() doesn’t work in a formulafill is a known issue:

I am noticing that using the uniqueid( function in a formula fill results in the same value being placed in each cell. This is in contrast to what is indicated in the Help file entry for the function where using it with a formula fill is specifically presented as an example. Appears either the function or the Help file needs to be corrected, or am I missing something obvious??
