Panorama X 10.2.0 b40 Build 4502 EXPERIMENTAL FOR SEQUOIA

@TomZAkron Does the same thing happen if you try it in a brand new database?

OMG that is almost 3 years old. Please remove this from your system!!!

Yes, it does happen if I import a .csv file into a new database . . .

It also happens if I choose “New” and start a brand new empty database, add three fields, type in data, try to merge fields 1 and 2 into Field 3

Here is a new dropbox link with a movie with sound showing the problem . . .

Did you read the error message that was displayed when you attempted to select a Field from the drop down?

It said that that dialog can only be used in a Form. You were currently using it while in the Data Sheet.

Ok, the missing link I needed was that this error occurs when you choose a field from the drop-down menu. I was able to duplicate this error on my macOS Sequoia computer, but not on a computer with an older version of macOS. Interesting that for you the problem occurred even on older versions of macOS.

Actually, he is using it in a form. The dialog he is using is a form. So the fact that he is starting from the data sheet is irrelevant.

Thank you for sticking with it … . . now that it is identified . . .we can track it down . . . I use this feature all the time so I will look forward to an update that fixed it . . . fortunately I have the three year old version of PanX on my laptop that still works . . . . Tom Z

Jim, I do want to report that if I do not click on the icon in the “Fill with Formula” to choose a field, and just type the field names and the formula, it works as normal. So the problem has to do with that popup field that displays the field names . . . Tom Z

On b39, it comes with an Internal Error in Dialog Logic as well, but the second line is tah the Resume Statment Failed (No Pause)
