Need a hot key to group objects in a form

I want to set up CMD-G as a hot key to group selected objects but I can’t find a statement that does the grouping. Is there one?

What do you mean by “group selected objects?” Do you mean you want the selected objects to all be in the same group?

GroupUp and GroupDown will sort and group the database, using the active field.

I set up a CMD-G keystroke once before that activated the Group Objects menu command but I can’t recall how I did it.

You can do that within macOS. You go to System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts and create a new app shortcut.
