I am a bit confused by your code that removes a colon at the end of the path. What is that for? The choosefiledialog statement uses UNIX file paths, so folder separators will be /, not :. Did you see something different? Or is that a leftover from Panorama 6 code?
Yes, this is a leftover from the original code of the copynewerfolder statement. Assumably it can be omitted.
