Alert: Contents of variable [clearcombo] have not been defined

Hello,

Every time I launch Panorama X I get the following alert:
image

“Contents of variable [clearcombo] have not been defined.”

I don’t have a database open and don’t use Panorama X for anything but testing every couple weeks.

Thanks for any insight.

I found the section of code where this error message is generated. It only happens when a specific type of corruption occurs in your Panorama preferences, which is why this isn’t reported all the time. The code wasn’t quite handling the error properly, I have fixed that so in the future this won’t happen again (once the next release comes out). For now, the solution for you is to clear out all Panorama preferences using these steps:

• If it is open, Quit from Panorama X
• Open a new window in the Finder
• Choose “Go To Folder” from the “Go” menu
• Enter ~/Library/Preferences/ and press the “Go” button
• Find the file “com.provue.PanoramaX.plist” and move it to the trash
• Relauch Panorama X (this will automatically create new, default preferences)
• Log into your Panorama account using your email address and password

If you’ve set up any options in the Panorama X preferences window, you will need to set them up again.

Had the same problem. Moved the application and files to a new replacement computer and got the message when opening a file. No menu “View” option was another symptom. No problem on the original computer. Executed the admin solution and now works fine.
