@ Variable failure

#1

I have an Image Display object and the formula is stored in a variable, In Pan 6 I used the @varname to get the formula, but this fails in PanX. Does @varname still work, or do I need a new formula?

The @variable feature was included as a way to get around the 255 character limit on formula names in an Image Display object in Panorama 6. Panorama X does not have any limit on the formula length, so this feature was not included in Panorama X. If you need to change the formula on-the-fly, you can do that with the changeobject statement. Another option would be to use the new execute( function.
