I have a form with a text list linked to the database, i.e., Database Navigator was turned on, and individual fields displayed on the same form. As you clicked on a row, the data in the fields updated to match the row selected. But I discovered that if you have less than all of the rows selected in the database, then the row you select in the text list will show up in the data fields and become the active record only if that row is also in the already selected records in the database. The text list appeared to be working incorrectly until I realized that I needed to expand the selection of rows in the database. Something to keep in mind when designing the database and considering the sequence of steps that a user could take before viewing certain forms; you might get some unexpected results.
